Wish Upon a Star Competitions

TINKER BELL RACES
Saturday 12:00pm, Sunday 3:15pm

This race is for all Dachshunds who know that they aren’t little dogs. Fly like the wind (and Tinker Bell) and finish first because dreams really do come true.

Rules: All entrants must be Dachshunds. This race requires 2 handlers: one at the starting line and the other at the finish line.

JIMINY CRICKET RACES

If you are short on stature but big on heart (and love to run) Fido needs you! Little can be mighty. Use your magical power and believe in your dreams.

Rules: All entrants must have legs no longer than 3”. No Dachshunds permitted (see special Tinker Bell Races). This race requires 2 handlers: one at the starting line and the other at the finish line.

BIBBIDI-BOBBIDI-BOO COSTUME CONTEST
Saturday, 2:45 pm and Sunday, 2:00 pm

Summon your Fairy Godmother to transform you into your alter ego. Dress as your favorite fairy tale character or chose the costume of your choice. You will be eligible for prizes in the following categories:

Classes:

1. Best Canine Costume (any one dog)
2. Best Canine Group Costume (two or more dogs)
3. Best Canine on a Float (Float is any decorated, non-motorized, wheeled mode of transportation that you can push or pull your costumed dog or dogs safely)
4. Best “Fairy Tale” Themed Human & Canine Ensemble (Must include at least one dog and one human with a Fairy Tale theme)

ENCHANTED FOREST TALENT CONTEST

When you wish upon a star, makes no difference who you are – unless you have a special talent that should be shared at Fido’s Festival USA®. Don’t hold back – show us what you’ve got. You can be an inspiration to all the other dogs in the kingdom.
