Where is it happening?

The Salem County Fairgrounds has 64 acres. 64 beautiful acres-that’s a lot of grass! At Fido’s Festival USA® every dog will have its day and its space!  Salem County Fair Grounds is located in the rolling farmland of South Jersey along US Route 40. The Fairgrounds is owned by Salem County and operated by the Salem County Fair Grounds Association.

This will be Fido's Festival USA®’s fourth year at the fairgrounds.  Salem County Fairgrounds also hosts the Delaware Valley Bluegrass Festival each year, the annual Salem County Fair, as well as a number of 4-H and other farming and agricultural events. It is a county property so no alcoholic beverages are permitted.

SO HOW DO I FIND YOU?

Salem County Fairgrounds is located seven miles east of the Delaware Memorial Bridge in pet friendly Woodstown, NJ.  The nearest major city is Wilmington, Delaware, which is across the Delaware River, approximately 10 miles to the west-northwest.

Philadelphia, PA is approximately 40 miles to the northwest. Atlantic City, NJ is about 60 miles to the southeast–at the end of Route 40.

If you are familiar with Cowtown, the fairgrounds is located approximately ¼ of a mile from that location.

There is a white wooden sign marked Salem County Fairgrounds so the entrance to the grounds is clearly marked and visible.

Route 40 is a very busy highway so please use caution when turning left into the grounds!!

Directions

From Delaware, Pennsylvania and Points South and West:

Take I-95 and as you come off the bridge into New Jersey, move into one of the two right-hand lanes, and follow signs for US 40 to Atlantic City. The Route 40 exit will be the last exit before you come to the toll booths for the New Jersey Turnpike. Immediately at the end of the exit lane there is a traffic light. Continue straight through this light and you will be on US 40. Watch the mile markers on the right side of the highway, and just past the 7-mile marker you will see a State Police communications tower ahead on the left. The Fair Grounds are located just before that tower, also on the left.

From New York City, North Jersey and Points North and East:

Take the New Jersey Turnpike all the way to the very end. After exiting the toll booth complex, look immediately to the right for signs directing you to US 40 to Atlantic City. Once on Route 40, watch the mile markers on the right side of the highway, and just past the 7-mile marker you will see a State Police communications tower ahead on the left.  The Salem County Fair Grounds are located just before that tower, also on the left.

From Atlantic City and Surrounding Area:

Take US 40 west toward Wilmington and the Delaware Memorial Bridge. Just after it passes through Woodstown, Route 40 makes a sharp right turn (there is a large cemetery on the right as you make the turn). About 2 miles after making this turn, you will see Cowtown on your left. The Salem County Fair Grounds are located approximately another 1/4 mile along US 40 on the right.
